There is usually no charge for an initial consultation meeting, unless it requires considerable travelling from my base or the client requests specific work prior to the meeting, in which case a fee will be agreed prior to the meeting.
Most projects are charged on an hourly rate basis and the estimate of the number of hours likely to be involved provided for agreement before commencement.
As a safeguard to both client and myself, and in accordance with professional requirements, a letter of appointment is provided for agreement before work on a project commences. Clients are requested to agree standard Terms of Business, a copy of which is available on request. |
